Why ACMC? I chose Advocate Christ because of the many friendships I developed with attendings and residents while rotating at Christ as a medical student. Hobbies/Interests: Biking the lakefront, hiking, Love Island UK, a good book on a rainy day, trying every almond croissant in Chicago, and annoying my cats Why did you choose ACMC? I chose Christ because I felt it was a friendly environment with great training, as well as preparation and opportunity for fellowship. Sandra Pasiah, MD Hometown: Chicago, Illinois Undergraduate School: University of Illinois, Springfield Medical School: St. George's University School of Medicine Career Plan: Pulmonology/Critical Care Hobbies/Interests: Enjoy hanging out with family and friends, shopping, playing card games and traveling the world Why did you choose ACMC? I chose ACMC because of the proximity to home. In addition, the residents seemed happy and friendly during my interview. ACMC is a good teaching hospital, with diverse patient population with the opportunity to see diverse pathology. In addition, ACMC did not have fellows at the time of my application process and so I saw it as an opportunity to learn directly from the attendings and do procedures if needed. Looking back, I am happy I chose ACMC for my residency and am excited to be staying on for an extra year as chief! Email: Sandra.Pasiah@aah.org |

ACMC was a first clear for me when choosing a residency program because of the excellent clinical and research experience that it provides, cultivated in a supportive team atmosphere. The interview day greatly reaffirmed this when I was able to meet the wonderful attendings, residents, and staff who make this program so exceptional. Email: Natalia.Zero@aah.org |
