Our History |
|
The Internal Medicine Residency Program started in 1973 with a total of only 13 residents. At the time, Advocate Christ Medical Center was known simply as Christ Hospital. In 2001, the campus began to expand and Christ Hospital became known as Advocate Christ Medical Center (ACMC). With the expansion of the campus, the residency program continued to grow in number, attracting even more highly qualified residents and faculty. At present, the ACMC Internal Medicine Residency Program supports the training of 66 interns and residents, and our institution has become a major quaternary care referral center throughout Illinois and the Midwest. |
