Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in the community

Our Mission and Core Values

The Department of Medicine at Advocate Christ Medical Center is committed to recruiting a diverse group of faculty and resident physicians, which therein mirrors the diverse patient population we care for on the Southwest side of Chicago. Our program feels strongly that diversity is crucial to creating a collaborative learning environment and cultivating effective teamwork. As a residency program and institution, we make a conscious effort to be mindful and respectful of age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic background, religion, spiritual practice, geography, physical ability, and other life experiences.
